The backstage drama in All Elite Wrestling has been the talking point of the wrestling world in the past week, with the backstage fight between the Elite, CM Punk and Ace Steel leading to all parties involved in the fight being suspended from the company.

Tony Khan announced that, due to the suspensions, the AEW World Championship and the AEW Trios Championship had been vacated, with Death Triangle being named the new Trios Champions on the September 7 episode of Dynamite.

With none of the Elite being backstage due to the suspension, there was no episode of Being The Elite this week, with none of the suspended AEW stars being seen publicly since the fight on Sunday night.

However, Kenny Omega appears to have travelled to Japan during his time away from AEW, as HAOMING store in Japan took to Twitter to share a video of Omega in the store in Japan, and he thankfully looks to not have any teeth marks in him.

The new AEW World Champion is set to be crowned at AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 21, in the final of the ongoing AEW World Championship Tournament of Champions.
