
An update has emerged on Kevin Owens’ WWE schedule ahead of the upcoming WWE Survivor Series premium live event.
It is believed that Kevin Owens suffered an MCL sprain at the November 13 WWE house show. Dave Meltzer previously reported that Owens has been doing rehab at the Performance Center.
It was also believed that, prior to Owens’ injury, the plan was for him to wrestle during the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Per PWInsider, Owens is scheduled for this Friday’s (November 18) edition of SmackDown, and all of the TV tapings ahead of the November 26 premium live event.
PWInsider previously reported that the planned lineup for the WarGames match was Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa vs Sheamus, Butch, Ridge Holland, Drew McIntyre & Kevin Owens.
The severity of Owens’ injury is currently unclear, however it seems that WWE is hopeful that Owens will be able to wrestle, given that he will be on the road leading up to Survivor Series.
In the women’s WarGames bout, Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross & Rhea Ripley will face off against Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, , Mia Yim & one more competitor to be announced.
