WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has named who he considers to be his “hardest” opponent throughout his career.
Throughout his career, Angle wrestled at nine WrestleManias, including in the main event of Mania 19 against Brock Lesnar.
Speaking with Going Ringside, when asked who was the hardest opponent he’d ever faced, Angle specifically named Lesnar.
Angle said:
“Brock Lesnar. He was a mixture of power, speed, agility. He was 300 pounds and moved like a cat.
“I’ve never been in the ring with an athlete like that, he was an animal.”

Angle and Lesnar had a few other one-on-one matches in addition to their WrestleMania outing, including at WWE SummerSlam 2023 later in the same year.
Angle is currently involved as a commentator and analyst with Real American Freestyle Wrestling, founded by Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan.
Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam in August attacking John Cena before then defeating Cena at Wrestlepalooza in September, but has been absent since then.
He was recently involved in filming the new WrestleMania 42 commercial alongside CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Triple H and Paul Heyman.
