Lana Potential WWE TV Return Update

Lana Potential WWE TV Return Update WWE

CJ Perry, aka Lana, has shared an update on the possibility of her returning to WWE TV, four years on from her last match.

Lana’s last match saw her team with Naomi against Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose on the May 31, 2021 edition of Raw, ahead of her WWE departure the following month.

With Lana signing a WWE Legends deal in April, the former in-ring competitor and manager has addressed the possibility of an in-ring return.

Lana expressed interest in returning to WWE TV, indicating that she’d be open to both wrestling and non-wrestling on-screen roles.

Noting that she’s always ready to return to the ring, but believes she’d be more valuable to WWE as a mouthpiece, she explained:

“I’m always training, I just don’t really talk about it much. I love wrestling and I stay working. I’m always ready, yes.

“I’m definitely ready, but I believe that my money pocket, my best asset to WWE is on the mic. But if they would want me to throw on my boots and throw some slaps and possibly cheat to win – because that’s what I would have to do with all these crazy super athletes now.

“The women are incredible athletes, like I’ve never seen the women’s division at such a high level, it’s really awesome. I would love to be the mouthpiece for some of these women.”

He was last in action on SmackDown however, losing to Jey Uso in the quarterfinals of the John Cena Last Time Is Now tournament on November 21.
