NXT sensation Lars Sullivan is in hot water with WWE bigwigs following a tweet he posted about going to New Japan Pro Wrestling once he’d finished with NXT.
Although the tweet, thought to be an April fools, has since been deleted at the request of the WWE, it caused a stir thanks to company policy that a talent should not mention another promotion, even though they all do.
Sullivan, who is one of the six contenders for the newly created NXT North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, quickly followed up the deleted article with two more placid entries:

An April fools it may have been, yet one hopes the monster sees no comeback for this by the NXT booking committee. It would be a shame for a burial to follow what was essentially a joke.
Lars Sullivan in New Japan is still quite a prospect. No doubt the tweet will leave much fantasy booking of his non-existent run.
