An update has been provided on Hacksaw Jim Duggan following his emergency surgery.
Jim Duggan’s wife Debra shared a statement via Jim’s Twitter account on Saturday (September 9), revealing that the wrestling legend had been admitted to hospital the previous night for an emergency procedure.
A further update showed the legend resting comfortably in his hospital bed on Sunday, September 10.
On September 11, Duggan took to social media to announce that he was out of the hospital following surgery. He wrote:
Out of the HOSPITAL!!!
Big Thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the @GlensFallsHosp. You made a rough few days much easier!!
Also, thanks to all of you who had a thought and a prayer for me as we went through this difficult time.

‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan is a WWE Hall of Famer, inducted in 2011 by fellow inductee that year, ‘The Million Dollar Man’, Ted DiBiase.
