Roman Reigns WWE Opponents For Rest Of 2026

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns famously has a rather limited schedule in WWE in 2026.

Despite reigning as champion, Reigns will likely only compete in a handful more matches for the rest of the calendar year of 2026.

Luckily though, WWE is setting up a lot of potential future opponents for Reigns to keep him well occupied in the coming months.

Here is every potential Roman Reigns WWE opponent for the rest of 2026.

Penta

Roman Reigns is set to compete in his first televised championship defence in five years in three weeks time, when he defends the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw in Mexico City.

Reigns will defend the title against either Penta or Rey Fenix depending on who wins the clash between brothers in the Tournament final next week on Raw.

Ever since the tournament was announced, many assumed it was set up for Penta to win and go on to be the man to face Reigns in Mexico City on September 14.

Reigns vs. Penta is a completely fresh match that will definitely make for a great defence for Reigns, even if realistically he isn’t going to lose.

LA Knight

Following his match with Penta, the next Roman Reigns World Heavyweight Championship defence will likely take place at WWE Money In The Bank in New Orleans.

Since SummerSlam, Reigns has been at war with LA Knight, with Knight continuing has attempts to defeat Roman and his Bloodline.

It has been reported that the match between Reigns and Knight is slated to take place at Money In The Bank in New Orleans as Knight continues to attempt to earn a shot at the gold.

However, Knight isn’t the only member of his own alliance that is seemingly destined for a clash with Reigns soon.

Solo Sikoa

After he was ‘delivered’ to the Tribal Chief following his loss to Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa delivered a major warning shot to Roman Reigns last week on Raw.

Solo has broken out as one of the most popular babyfaces on Raw in recent weeks, with WWE reportedly impressed by his merchandise sales since turning.

With Solo now at war with his own family, we may soon be set to see a rematch from the WWE Raw Netflix Premiere, with Solo challenging Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, this time with the roles reversed.

Royce Keys

Another man who has been intertwined with the Bloodline in recent months is Royce Keys, who initially attempted to recruit Jacob Fatu away from the family.

After being taken out by Jacob Fatu following his attack at the end of their Street Fight on Raw, Keys re-emerged last night on Raw with WWE NXT stars OTM by his side.

This dangerous new alliance wiped out LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and the Usos to stand tall in Ottawa.

This new look version of Royce Keys will definitely be an issue for Reigns in the coming months.

CM Punk

It has been reported that WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia for the annual Crown Jewel event later this year.

The show will once again feature the Crown Jewel Championship matches for the third straight year, pitting the World Heavyweight and WWE Champions against each other.

As it stands, the men’s Crown Jewel Championship match will be a rematch of the WrestleMania 42 night two main event; CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns.

Running back Punk vs. Roman is a major match to add to the lineup of Crown Jewel.

War Games

WWE recently announced the return of War Games once again this year for Survivor Series.

The poster for the show features Reigns and Reigns alone, confirming that he will be featured on the show, likely in an important role.

With how many wrestlers are currently in the Bloodline storyline on Raw, it seems we are on the cusp of yet another Bloodline War Games match.
