
WWE’s latest new signing has been revealed as a former NJPW star.
Per PWInsider, former NJPW star Karl Fredericks, who left the company back in August 2022 due to contract expiration, has signed with WWE.
Fredericks will report to the NXT brand, starting at the WWE Performance Center this week.
Fredericks was spotted at the WWE Performance Center back in September, a month after his contract with NJPW expired.
WWE have been active in the free agent market the past few months, recently announcing the signing of AAA star Dragon Lee, who will start with NXT in February.
There have also been rumours of former NWA star Colby Corino signing with the company following his free agency on January 1.
Another name who also had a tryout with WWE is Kylie Rae, but she is still a free agent as of last night.
Another former WWE star is on their way back to the company, and has been signed for ‘quite some time’.
