Talent would like to see an all-women’s weekly WWE show.
WWE has seen great strides with more opportunities for female stars over the past few years. The company has introduced more titles, devoted more television time and storylines, and gone a long way to treat women as equals to their male counterparts.
With women headlining premium live events including WrestleMania not being an uncommon thing anymore, the question is what will be next in the evolution of WWE’s women’s division.
Speaking to Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling, Liv Morgan and Michin were asked what the next step for the women will be. Morgan said:
“It is a good question because it is very equal playing fields right now. There’s nothing that the men have done that we have not done, and so I just hope that we just keep getting more opportunity more time. Maybe an all-female show, who knows?”
Michin stated in response, “Like a weekly show.”
Morgan added on that the roster is big enough to support the women having their own dedicated show, saying:
“Yeah, a weekly all-females show. We have the talent and the roster to do it. But I think just think at this time, we just appreciate being equal and not less than.”
“We are equal to, you know, the men in in our company, which, at one point, they were the focal, and we were the accessory, and now to be seen on the same playing field as them, I think we all just appreciate that and are enjoying that and looking to show the company that they made the right decision.”
Liv Morgan is set to team up with Raquel Rodriguez to face Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Unified Women’s Tag Team Championships on this Saturday’s Money In The Bank event.
