WWE star Logan Paul has hit back at criticism of his PRIME Energy drink brand, specifically regarding the caffeine content and its potential dangers to children in an appearance on FOX News.
There were recent concerns regarding the caffeine level in Prime Energy and the belief it was marketed at young people, but PRIME came out and clarified that PRIME Hydration and PRIME Energy are different products, with PRIME Energy not made for anyone under 18.
In response to the controversy, Paul appeared on FOX News, where he provided examples of other energy drinks on the market, comparing the caffeine content in an attempt to show that PRIME is no less a threat than competing brands – in some cases containing less caffeine than others on the market.
He stated that Prime contains 200 mg of caffeine, which is the same as Gatorade’s Fast Twitch, the same as Celsius, and 100mg less than Bang Energy.
Paul stated that if there’s so much concern about caffeine in energy drinks, there should be more vigilance and control at the point of purchase.
