Lyra Valkyria has addressed the future of her tag-team with Bayley, revealing her goals and what she hopes she does next in WWE.
While Valkyria did become a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Bayley’s replacement Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 41, she has yet to win this title alongside the Role Model.
Speaking with WittyWhittier, Valkyria was asked about her future, and whether she is interested in re-establishing herself as a singles star.
Wanting to conquer the WWE tag-team division, Valkyria said:
“Me and Bayley have been chasing the tag titles for like a year now. We walked into WrestleMania, we walked out unsuccessful. We just got finished up wrestling Roxanne (Perez) and Raquel (Rodriguez) again, and they had Liv interfere.
“I really want to take our bit of the tag-team division, to be honest. We had Rhea (Ripley) and IYO (SKY) as the champs for a good long time, two of who I would consider the top women in the company, and Bayley and I never faced them.
“I feel like we have something very special, I feel like we want our piece of the tag division, and we want to win the tag-team titles.
“We want to take on everyone. We want more of the tag division, that’s what we want next.”

Following defeating Bayley and Lyra Valkyria on the April 27 Raw episode, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez are set to challenge for Paige and Brie Bella’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the May 18 Raw episode.
While Valkyria has reaffirmed her desire for tag-team success, there has been some speculation about her and Bayley heading their separate ways, with Bayley’s recent solo visit to NXT, and TNA appearance teases.
