Championship Match Set For September 11 WWE Raw

A WWE Women’s World Championship match has been announced for next week’s (September 11) episode of WWE Raw.

At WWE Payback, Rhea Ripley retained her Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez after interference from ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio.

On tonight’s episode of Raw, Raquel went one on one with Chelsea Green, defeating her in short order.

After the match, Raquel Rodriguez took to the microphone, revealing that she spoke to Adam Pearce, and that she would face Rhea Ripley in a rematch on next week’s show.

Raquel also announced that Dominik Mysterio would be banned from ringside for the rematch.

Chelsea Green’s Women’s Tag Team Championship partner Piper Niven was revealed to be not cleared to compete on tonight’s WWE Raw show.

Tonight’s Raw show also featured a big championship match, with GUNTHER defending his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable in the main event.
