The announcement was made on the Ring of Honor Twitter account. The Briscoes said that they have run through everyone in ROH and they are eleven time tag team champions. After posing the question of what is next for them they revealed that they will become twelve time tag team champions and have re-signed with the company.
Jay Briscoe is a former two-time ROH World Champion while he and Mark are former eleven-time ROH World Tag Team Champions, as previously mentioned. They most recently lost the tag titles to Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham at Final Battle 2019.
