It has been a week since the wrestling world tragically lost Jay Briscoe (Jamin Pugh) on January 17.
Since Jay’s passing, it has been reported that AEW were unable to host a tribute show for Briscoe due to being prevented by Warner Bros Discovery.
Earlier today, Dave Meltzer said that AEW would still not be able to feature Mark Briscoe on the show, but that turned out to not be the case.
Tony Khan took to Twitter today to announce that on tomorrow night’s AEW Dynamite, which falls on what would have been Jamin’s 39th birthday, Mark will make his AEW Dynamite debut.
Mark will face long-time friend and rival of the Briscoes, Jay Lethal, in a match requested by both men to celebrate the life of Jay Briscoe.
