AEW
Matt Hardy has now taken to Twitter to clarify his recent comments about AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.
Talking about all the backstage drama in AEW, Hardy had said on his podcast that Omega and the Bucks “did nothing wrong” and “if anything, they were the victims”.
Some people misconstrued Hardy’s comments as him saying he literally saw the fight that happened backstage at All Out, despite him not saying that, and his comments quite clearly just being his overall evaluation of the situation as a whole.
Hardy has now confirmed that, tweeting:
My comments from this week’s @matthardypod have been misconstrued. I WAS NOT at All Out 2022.
I DID NOT say I witnessed the events at All Out. I witnessed the entire process in real time over the months & stand by my comment that the Elite were not in the wrong.
Hardy’s most recent match for AEW came back on October 18 in a win over Lord Crewe on Elevation.
