A member of the McMahon family has dropped a tease ahead of this weekend’s WWE WrestleMania 40 Premium Live Event.
While he hasn’t been involved in anything in the way of angles or storyline, Declan McMahon has been shown on-screen on WWE shows a number of times now.
Declan is one of Shane McMahon’s sons, and thus a grandson of Vince McMahon.
Just days out from WWE WrestleMania this weekend, Declan McMahon posted on Twitter:
WrestleMania 40 Weekend coming up! Never know what could happen.
The second night of last year’s WrestleMania 39 event of course saw the short-lived return of Shane McMahon, who lasted just a few seconds in a match against The Miz before tearing his own quad doing a leapfrog.
That led to a highly praised improvised moment from Snoop Dogg who essentially stepped in and punched Miz, before hitting him with a People’s Elbow and pinning him.
In an interesting side note, a couple of weeks ago Declan tweeted his support for Chad Gable who was looking to qualify for an Intercontinental Championship match against GUNTHER, a spot that ultimately went to Sami Zayn.
Back in early March, Declan tweeted:
On behalf of me and the WWE universe. We Want Chad Gable!!!
