Following the main roster debut of Piper Niven last night on Monday Night Raw alongside Eva Marie, SmackDown star Mia Yim took to social media to slam fans for body shaming.
The former RETRIBUTION member had the following to say on Twitter during Raw last night. While she didn’t specifically mention Piper Niven, the tweet was posted minutes after her segment on the show.
The body shaming is disgusting. Y’all bold behind the screens. It costs nothing to be kind.
For those that didn’t catch last night’s show, Piper Niven replaced Eva Marie in her scheduled match with Naomi, beating the former SmackDown Women’s Champion in pretty convincing fashion.
WWE opted not to give Niven a name on last night’s show, and the commentary team made it out as if they didn’t know the Scot used to be part of the NXT UK brand, wrestling as recently as March.
