A mixed Trios match has been announced for next week’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
On last night’s AEW Collision show, Orange Cassidy and HOOK met up backstage, where they shared a bag of Doritos before agreeing to team up at AEW Grand Slam next week.
However, the match is seemingly not set to be a standard tag team bout.
On a digital exclusive video, HOOK and Orange Cassidy were confronted by Angelo Parker and Matt Menard, before Anna Jay and TBS Champion Kris Statlander also entered the picture.
The two teams agreed to a mixed Trios match on next week’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam show.
The Grand Slam special episode of Rampage is set to be two hours long instead of the typical one hour.
Here is the confirmed line up for AEW Rampage Grand Slam (per Fightful):
– Darby Allin & Sting vs. Christian Cage & Luchasaurus
– ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona & Kaun) (c) (w/ Prince Nana) vs. The Hung Bucks (Hangman Page, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)
– AEW World Tag Team Championship: Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (c) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, & John Silver)
