Energy is quite high within WWE after Money in the Bank and it appears they want to keep it that way.
The highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account reported today that WWE sources say they want to keep the momentum they’ve created going through SummerSlam. They said:
“Talked to a few sources and it seems as though WWE feels like they can absolutely keep the energy & momentum created so far this past weekend and carry it all the way thru to SummerSlam. If they can, we are looking at an all time PPV event come 8/21. Time will tell.”
The rumored card for SummerSlam has a number of major matches that should help to keep energy high over the next few weeks.
This goes along with the return of John Cena in the closing moments of last night’s pay-per-view. Cena is reportedly set to face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, a massive match between two of WWE’s biggest stars.
