More Information On Cody And Brandi Rhodes Reality Show

More has been revealed on Cody and Brandi Rhodes’ upcoming reality TV show, after their huge announcement on AEW Dynamite.

Last night, it was announced that “Rhodes To The Top“, a new reality TV show, will debut on TNT in the near future. A new report has revealed that each episode will be half an hour long.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the announcement, noting that TNT added this show to their schedule after a successful pilot. Explaining that the evidence points towards a 2021 premiere, Meltzer clarified that this isn’t the third hour of AEW weekly programming that was reportedly coming.

Here is the full quote:

“This was an idea that they’ve had for a while, and they did a pilot and they took it to TNT and TNT liked it, and they’re adding it to the schedule. This is not the third hour (AEW) show. There’s still another show that’s gonna be added by the end of the year.

“They didn’t announce a date but it’s probably later in the year, because they way TNT and TBS do their announcements is they announce the show, and then a couple of months later, they’ll plug it and plug it and plug it on all their stations, like the show with John Cena they’re doing, the Wipeout show which starts in April. They’ll plug it for a while without telling you what it’s going to be, and then, when they’re a couple of weeks out from the start, then they’ll start plugging the date. So it’s months away but I don’t know exactly when.

“It’s gonna be a 30-minute show, but the key to all this, for anyone who thinks for whatever reason that AEW’s in trouble or this and that, I actually don’t think too many people think that, but some people, if they listen to the wrong people, maybe they do believe that, but you don’t add secondary programming and a reality show with people on the show if you’re not all in. Plus, the other thing is that during the NCAAs and the games on TBS and TNT, they’ve been plugging AEW heavily on those shows. So even though Kevin Reilly’s gone (from TNT), AEW’s very much a high-priority thing on that station.”
