Limitless Wrestling, an independent promotion based in Maine, is coming to the MyAEW streaming service, launched earlier this year.

Powered by Kiswe, MyAEW received a global launch in March of this year, providing fans with a new method of accessing events.

In a press release dated June 12, Limitless Wrestling confirmed that they are the latest independent wrestling promotion to be added to MyAEW, with the statement shared on Twitter reading:

PORTLAND, ME – Limitless Wrestling, one of the most celebrated independent wrestling promotions in the country, announced today that its content will now be available on MyAEW, the global wrestling streaming platform. Beginning immediately, fans can visit MyAEW to browse free matches, wrestler collections, and full live events drawn from more than ten years of Limitless Wrestling history, with new content released week to week.

The partnership gives international audiences their first real opportunity to explore the deep Limitless Wrestling archive, which serves as a documented record of the independent wrestling pipeline that has produced some of the biggest names in professional wrestling today. Stars including MJF, Kris Statlander, and Daniel Garcia all found their footing at Limitless Wrestling before becoming central figures in AEW, and fans can now revisit those early chapters on demand. At the same time, the platform will spotlight the next generation of independent talent currently making their mark on the scene.

“This partnership with MyAEW is a milestone moment for Limitless Wrestling. We’ve always believed in making our content as accessible as possible, and MyAEW gives us the opportunity to share more than a decade of our history with a global audience. Fans will be able to revisit the earliest chapters of wrestlers who went on to become some of the biggest stars in the industry today, while also discovering the next generation of talent making their mark on the independent scene right now. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built here in Maine over the last ten years, and we’re excited for wrestling fans around the world to experience Limitless Wrestling through MyAEW.”

Opening Independent Wrestling To A Global Audience

Limitless Wrestling is the third independent wrestling promotion to join MyAEW, with PRODUCE Wrestling recently announcing their pay-per-views would stream live, and 1FW also calling the platform home.

It could be argued that Limitless Wrestling would benefit more from a platform such as YouTube, globally accessible and free to access. Indeed, they do have a YouTube channel, with matches regularly uploaded to showcase their talent.

The benefit of a platform such as MyAEW, however, is that it is designed with wrestling fans in mind, in a similar way to how IWTV, Triller+ or the now-defunct WWE Network appealed to those with an interest in that specific style of content.

By contrast, YouTube is a broad church of content, and it’s easy to miss things due to the sheer volume of videos uploaded on a regular basis. Then there are the vagaries of the algorithm, which can see videos and channels pop up and disappear, whereas a service such as MyAEW is more likely to be curated with its, arguably, niche audience in mind.

AEW adding independent wrestling to the platform allows fans to see stars that they may have only seen on Dynamite or Collision in other places, without leaving the MyAEW platform. In an ideal situation, there’ll be as much focus on exposing the independent wrestling as there is the AEW content, perhaps through a “you liked this? You might like this” option, just keeping it very much focused on the catalog of what’s available.
