A week without watching Neville wrestling is pretty unpleasant, so now that it’s been nearly a year since he reportedly walked out of WWE after becoming frustrated at his booking, it’s pretty much unbearable.
Thankfully, it seems that the wait to see him back in the ring could be nearing its end.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer notes that Neville is:
“Free and clear to work anywhere he wants,” and “can’t accept dates yet but will be able to very soon.”
Meltzer does not going into detail regarding the promoters have contacted him; only that they have. Let’s face it though, a performer of his renown and diverse skill-set could easily work anywhere.
In terms of which promotions are most likely to sign the man that WWE forgot, you’d have to think that NJPW are best placed. They have previously worked with Neville, and he could be a huge asset to their junior heavyweight division.

But there are plenty of other promotions who will be keeping an eye on his movements. ROH, IMPACT and more would be more than happy to have him in their ranks, particularly as he’ll surely be out to show WWE what they’re missing.
