New Edge WWE Faction Pitched, Potential Member Revealed

WWE Hall of Famer Edge has undergone a complete character metamorphosis in the past month ahead of his dream match with AJ Styles on WrestleMania 38 Sunday.

It seems as though Edge’s presentation change may not be complete just yet, as Fighful Select (subscription required) is reporting that there has been a particular pitch that has heavily talked about in creative, which would see Edge get a new faction.

Several notable names have been discussed for the group, including former WWE United States Champion Damian Priest. It was initially believed that Priest would be on the WrestleMania 38 card against Finn Balor in a United States Championship match, but instead both are a part of the WrestleMania Smackdown Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Fightful notes that, unless plans change for the heel faction, that could begin to happen imminently.
