A WWE star’s new backstage role looks to be confirmed as footage has emerged from this past Friday’s Worlds Collide show.

Worlds Collide took place in Las Vegas on September 12, and was headlined by Dominik Mysterio winning the AAA Mega Championship from El Hijo Del Vikingo.

Ahead of the show, it was confirmed that Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker would all be in attendance as they were already in Vegas for the WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia announcement earlier, and the Crawford vs Alvarez fight later.

Since the WWE acquisition of AAA in April, several names have been noted as being put in place by WWE to start running the shows, or at least being involved backstage.

Those names have typically been Jeremy Borash, The Undertaker, Pete Dunne and NXT head referee Adrian Butler.

It’s been noted that Shawn Michaels and Triple H have been at shows too, but haven’t really done anything in terms of running them.

Jeremy Borash is reportedly the guy in charge of running the operations, while Undertaker has more of an informal role in advising talent on their work.

Meanwhile, Dunne and Butler are said to have been working as producers, with Butler also working as a referee.

Shawn Michaels posted a new video on social media, which appears to confirm the news about Dunne, as the two can be seen together at ringside ahead of the show – thus confirming Dunne’s presence despite him not being on the card.

Reports from back a few months ago indicated that Dunne had also been working as a producer for WWE Speed as well.

He’s made a few appearances on Raw recently under a mask as an accomplice of El Grande Americano.
