Was a new WWE commentator revealed ahead of tonight’s NXT? Find out the potential scoop from the WWE Performance Center.

In advance of tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, matches were filmed for NXT Level Up with a notable addition to the commentary team.

Robert Stone joined the commentary team for Level Up ahead before he appeared on-screen during tonight’s WWE NXT (April 11).

Stone called the action alongside the usual Level Up team, Blake Howard and Byron Saxton.

On tonight’s WWE NXT, Von Wagner faced off against Ilja Dragunov with the stipulation that if he lost the match then he would also lose the representation of Robert Stone. Von Wagner was defeated via pinfall.

After the match, Robert Stone made it clear he intended to stick to his word of parting ways with Wagner in the event of a loss when he fired his client.

It is unclear if Stone is making a complete pivot from an on-screen manager to an on-screen commentator but we’ll certainly keep our eyes out for any more info!

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, two tag teams seem to be headed for break-ups and find out who is in a fatal four way to determine the number one contender to Carmelo Hayes’ NXT Championship.

Also, an onscreen appearance by two stars that had reportedly requested their release from WWE.
