In April 2022, Korakuen Hall will celebrate 60 years of events. As per Tokyo Sports, the legendary arena will hold its own pro wrestling event across April 15-16.
Tokyo Sports revealed that stars from both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and All Japan Pro-Wrestling will be in action on the April 16 show. It is currently unclear whether there will be any inter-promotional matches, or if NJPW and AJPW will just host exhibition bouts.
Interestingly, both NJPW and AJPW will be entering their 50th years of operations in 2022.
The April 15 show will be a ‘Women’s Wrestling Dream Festival’. The card for this show is also unknown, as of writing.
NJPW is set to host an inter-promotional event with Pro Wrestling NOAH on January 8, the third night of Wrestle Kingdom. You can check out the full line-up for the NJPW vs NOAH card at this link.
