Multiple title changes, and numerous Bullet Club shenanigans took place during today’s (May 1) eventful NJPW Wrestling Dontaku show.
Four championships changed hands during the event, with Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship in three-way action, Tama Tonga defeating EVIL for the NEVER Openweight Title, Taiji Ishimori besting El Desperado for the IWGP Jr Heavyweight gold, and Hiroshi Tanahashi victorious over Tomohiro Ishii to win the vacant IWGP US Championship.
Over the course of the night, Bullet Club went from strength to strength, bringing home two new titles, establishing Juice Robinson as a new member, and having The Good Brothers return to attack Tama Tonga.
The show ended with Bullet Club celebrating in the ring after Jay White attacked IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Okada.
