NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title Bout Set For Crockett Cup

A NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship match has been announced for the Crockett Cup next month.

This comes after Matt Cardona winning the Ten Pounds of Gold from Trevor Murdoch during the February 12 NWA PowerrrTrip event.

Following the match, former champion Nick Aldis informed Cardona that he will be challenging for the title during the March 19-20 event.

You can watch the Cardona/Aldis confrontation below:

Aldis has held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title twice, with his second reign lasting 1043 days. Aldis dropped the gold to Trevor Murdoch at the NWA 73 Anniversary show in August 2021.
