NXT Draws Over One Million Viewers On USA Network Debut

Fans and critics would have been wondering exactly how the USA Network debut for NXT would do in terms of viewership.

Well, the totals for the first hour are in and it’s being reported that the hour average 1.179million viewers, around half of what Raw has been doing of late.

Of course, the two aren’t exactly comparable, given that Raw has been running for 25 years on a weekly basis, but it’s an interesting statistic nonetheless.

The show ranked 4th for the night in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic, behind American Horror Story, Basketball Wives and Black Ink Crew. NXT ranked 19th for the night in viewership.

There are no available statistics for the second hour of the show, which aired on the WWE Network due to a scheduling issue.

It’s hard to put into perspective how good these numbers are, but back in December 2017, the USA Network aired an NXT special which drew 841,000 viewers, so compared to that it’s fair to say the debut show did rather well.
