Did Dominik Mysterio Lose His Championship At NXT Great American Bash

Find out if Dominik Mysterio left NXT Great American Bash still the North American Champion or if he was beaten tonight (July 30).

Dominik Mysterio put his NXT North American Championship on the line at the Bash against both former champion Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali.

With the triple threat stipulation, the odds may have been against Dominik, but one element that neither challenger had available to them at ringside that Dom did: Rhea Ripley.

The WWE Women’s World Champion Ripley was ringside for Dirty Dom’s title match, as usual, and proved to be a significant factor throughout.

After Wes Lee took the chance to actually catapult himself over the top of Ripley to take out Dirty Dom on the outside, he hadn’t had his last interaction with the champ as Ripley actually hit a Riptide on Lee through the commentary desk.

After Mysterio and Ripley tried some shenanigans with using their title belts as weapons, and Ripley pulling Ali off a pinfall where it looked like he would have won, in the end, ‘Dirty Dom’ Dominik Mysterio was able to retain the NXT North American Championship after a frog splash on Wes Lee.

Elsewhere so far at NXT Great American Bash, there has been a title change and a women’s ‘Weapons Wild’ match where all weapons were legal, including a cowbell.
