Another major championship change has taken place at tonight’s NXT No Mercy premium live event.
Earlier in the show, Trick Williams captured the first championship of his WWE career, when he unseated ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio to become the new NXT North American Champion.
Trick then met up with NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, with the two hoping to both end the night with championship gold.
However, that didn’t end up happening, as Hayes ended up losing his title in a war with Ila Dragunov.
NXT’s next premium live event is set to be the second annual NXT Deadline event on December 9.
NXT announced that this year’s Halloween Havoc event would serve as a two week television special on October 24 and 31.
NXT also announced the bracket for the 2023 Women’s Breakout Tournament, which is set to begin on next week’s NXT show, at No Mercy. You can see the full bracket here.
