NXT Tag Team Championship Match With Unlikely Team Challenging Set For Tonight

Tonight’s WWE NXT kicked off with an NXT Tag Team Championship match being booked, with a pair of unlikely challengers!

To kick off tonight’s NXT, Bron Breakker took to the ring however was promptly interrupted by Pretty Deadly.

Inquiring as to where their championship celebration was, they were then interrupted by Wes Lee who joined Breakker in then ceding the ring to the champs.

While they let them do a little introduction schtick, partway through the enjoyable ‘sideplate check’, Lee informed Pretty Deadly they were bound to be interrupted.

Typically, by challengers for their tag team championships – them!

With Wes Lee missing the NXT tag belts and Bron never having held them, Pretty Deadly seemed to reluctantly agree to the match for later tonight.

Teasing that they didn’t think it could get much worse, R-Truth joined the squad in the ring to do not only a rousing rendition of his entrance theme but also bust some moves with Wes Lee.

R-Truth is scheduled to have a match with Grayson Waller which an on-screen graphic suggested was up next.
