An NXT star has reacted on Twitter after he was rumored to be appearing on tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown and yet didn’t.
After fans had widely speculated about the graduation status of Carmelo Hayes from WWE NXT to the main roster, an answer for tonight at least was just revealed.
With many in the fandom believing that the mystery partner for Hit Row’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Top Dolla to be the perfect opportunity for an NXT call up.
With some going as far as to feel certain it would be Carmelo Hayes joining the faction, it seems it was all conjecture.
After Hit Row made their entrance with B-Fab introducing their mystery partner to be Shinsuke Nakamura, Hayes has now responded.
Keeping it succinct but tweeting anyway, Carmelo Hayes tweeted simply: “LOL”
Elsewhere in NXT, Legado del Fantasma’s previous member Elektra Lopez made her return this week to put the entire NXT women’s division on notice.
For their part, Hit Row with Nakamura won the match against LDF much to the disappointment of new member Zelina Vega.
