Current NXT Champion Karrion Kross has indicated he wants to face John Cena in Cena’s last ever match in WWE.
Kross won the NXT Title for the second time at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver against Finn Balor on April 8.
When a fan pitched that Kross should be Cena’s retirement match opponent, Kross had two responses:
I would be honored… And VERY ready.
Selfishly, I hope he comes back full time.
It wasn’t long ago that one of the greatest rivals of John Cena, that being Randy Orton, took to Twitter and hinted that he wants to work with Kross at some point in the future.
Kross is currently in his second reign with the NXT Title as his first had to end after only a few days due to him suffering a separated shoulder in the match he won it from Keith Lee.
