NXT’s premium live event Halloween Havoc rolled on as Mandy Rose defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Alba Fyre.
After having a spooky encounter with Alba Fyre at a haunted house earlier in the show, Rose and Fyre reappeared in time for their match in the ring.
Midway through the match, Toxic Attraction (Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin) also reappeared after their wild night at the haunted house and in a melee, the ref went down!
While Fyre hit a big move and could have pinned Mandy Rose, since there was no referee… there was no pinfall.
With some more Toxic hijinks, Alba Fyre was vulnerable.
After Toxic Attraction took out Fyre on the outside and shoved her back in the ring, Mandy Rose hit her finisher and got the pinfall victory.
Mandy Rose was able to retain her NXT Women’s Championship and therefore continues her history making reign, closing in on becoming the longest reigning Women’s champ in NXT history.
Elsewhere already on tonight’s NXT premium live event, Halloween Havoc, a new North American champion was crowned, a brawl took place in a spooky haunted house, a casket match featured two caskets and a grudge match was settled.
