This news contains SPOILERS for anyone who wants to be surprised by WWE Main Event, which was recorded before the October 31st WWE Raw.
This week’s edition of WWE Main Event saw the appearance of several members of the NXT roster.
- Kiana James beat Dana Brooke
- Duke Hudson & Von Wagner lost to R-Truth and Shelton Benjamin
Kiana James had appeared on Main Event last week in a losing effort against Dana Brooke.
Before first appearing in NXT in February 2022, James made a small number of appearances as Xtina Kay in AEW.
Duke Hudson had appeared on Main Event previously and lost to Cedric Alexander.
He has been with WWE since February 2019 and started out in NXT as Brendan Vink, moving to the main roster with Shane Thorne.
Vink would return to NXT in July 2021 with the name Duke Hudson.
He would lose a hair-vs-hair match against Cameron Grimes at NXT WarGames on December 5 2021.
Von Wagner signed with WWE in March 2019 and made his NXT debut on September 14, 2021, in a Fatal Four Way Match for the vacant NXT Championship.
He’s been featured prominently on NXT since, teaming with the likes of Kyle O’Reilly until he turned on O’Reilly leading to a Steel Cage match in December 2021 which Wagner won.
