NXT’s Adam Cole Watches AEW With Girlfriend, Dr. Britt Baker

Dr. Britt Baker and Adam Cole are involved in a serious relationship.  Dating someone who works for a company you’re in direct competition with would have to be difficult.

However, these two are apparently very supportive and haven’t let the business matters trickle down to home life.  Recently, Britt Baker sat down with Bleacher Report and had some interesting things to say about how they make it work.

“We are texting and calling each other for encouragement right up until the moment we go out the curtain.  It can be a little heartbreaking when it’s the biggest night of his career or the biggest night of my career and we can’t be there. Because we’re each other’s biggest fans and, as a fan, you want to be there and feel the energy. You want to experience it. So, it’s a little discouraging.

She goes on to discuss how they keep up with what the other one is doing on each of their shows.

“But we sit at home and watch each other’s matches. We actually watch each other’s whole show. We support each other’s company. My boyfriend is basically best friends with The Young Bucks, so he’s very supportive of All Elite Wrestling.”

Okay, so it’s not like he’s sitting in the back watching while NXT is going on.  However, it is nice to hear he still supports his buddies even though they kayfabe murdered him on Being The Elite when he signed with WWE.

It will be interesting to see how the two make it work as they continue two work for separate brands.  At some point you’d have to think they’d like to wind up in the same company.

Adam Cole sure seems like he’d be a great fit for AEW.  Of course, I’m sure Triple H won’t let that happen without a fight.
