New NXT North American Champion Oba Femi has replaced a main roster WWE star following his championship victory.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT ended in shocking fashion, when NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament winner Oba Femi used his championship contract after only one week.
Femi cashed in on Dragon Lee for a shot at the NXT North American Championship after Lee defended the title against Lexis King.
Femi captured the championship, becoming the new champion and the youngest ever North American Champion at age 22.
Following his victory, Femi has now replaced Dragon Lee on the banner for the NXT brand on WWE’s official website.
Dragon Lee captured the North American Championship from Dominik Mysterio back at NXT Deadline, when he subbed in for the injured Wes Lee after he announced a major back injury that would keep him out of action for many months.
The updated banner can be seen below, which also features updated renders for Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez.
