WWE star Paige has revealed that her current deal with the company expires earlier than initially reported.
On a recent Twitch stream Paige noted that her WWE contract expires in June 2022. Unsure if WWE will offer her a new deal, Paige said:
“My contract is up in June of next year. Who knows if they would want to give me a new contract? Who’s to say they would want to? If they did, I’d love to have Twitch in the contract.”
It was announced that Paige had signed a multi-year deal with the company on WWE Backstage in 2019. Following the announcement, PWInsider had reported that Paige had signed a four-year deal that would’ve kept her with WWE through 2023.
Paige hasn’t wrestled since the December 2017 Madison Square Garden show. following a severe neck injury, the former Divas Champion retired from in-ring competition in April 2018. Since then, Paige has conducted a number of non-wrestling roles for the company.
Providing a promising update on her neck injury, Paige took to Twitter towards the end of July to celebrate a gym accomplishment.
