Paul Heyman Responds To WWE Hall of Fame Speech Being Called The ‘Greatest Of All-Time’ WWE

Paul Heyman has responded to online claims that his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech is the ‘Greatest of all-time’.

Despite WrestleMania 40 weekend ending with Roman Reigns’ massive loss to Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night Two, just two nights prior it was a major cause for celebration for The Bloodline, specifically Paul Heyman.

Heyman was the headline inductee for the 2024 Hall of Fame class, fitting given the event’s location of Philadelphia, PA – the home of ECW.

Now, a week removed from the ceremony, Heyman has engaged with a pair of Twitter users regarding their reactions to his Hall of Fame speech.

Firstly, a user named Joshua Gray heaped praise on Heyman’s speech saying it “might possibly be the greatest Hall of Fame speech of all-time”.

Instead of taking this as praise however, Heyman was not impressed with the lack of conviction in the Twitter user’s statement – leading to charged up response.

Heyman wrote:

WTF??? MIGHT??? POSSIBLY???

We use declarative words on the Island of Relevancy.

Words like “definitely” and “absolutely” and “undisputed,” “uncontroverted,” “shall be acknowledged as …”

MIGHT POSSIBLY my f’n kosher tuchus!

This then led to another user named DAPtheWutangGuy, being far more definitive with their words by claiming that Heyman’s speech was “hands down” the greatest Hall of Fame speech ever.

While Heyman was far more receptive to these claims, he felt perhaps that limiting the speech’s praise to just Hall of Fame ceremonies of the past was limiting.

Instead Heyman stated that the speech was not only the best Hall of Fame speech, but the greatest speech of all-time period.

Heyman wrote:

SEE???

DAP the #WuTang Guy (shoutout to my dear friend @methodman) gets it right. GREATEST #WWEHOF speech of all time (and even adds “hands down”)!

You’ll have to pardon me for being nit picky (esp to a #WuTangGuy), but why limit the praise to “Hall of Fame” speeches?

Let’s just all agree. GREATEST. SPEECH. EVER!

Emancipation Proclamation, Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, et al … all now vying for second place!

Good morning everyone. I’m in a mood today!

Although Heyman feels strongly about the quality of his Hall of Fame speech, one thing that he is perhaps less sure on is what exactly is currently going on within The Bloodline following the events of Friday’s SmackDown (April 12).

Following Solo Sikoa and new Bloodline member Tama Tonga’s attack on Jimmy Uso, Heyman has sent a message to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns – click here for full details.
