Popular AEW Star’s Undefeated Record Ended AEW

A popular AEW star’s undefeated record has ended on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite in the main event of the show.

After previously being undefeated in AEW, Mark Briscoe has lost tonight in the main event against Jay White.

Previously Mark Briscoe had been 4-0 in singles action as well as 4-0 in Trios action in AEW.

While the stipulation for the match would have seen White give up his title shot at Full Gear 2023 if he lost, instead ther was a development in the ongoing saga of the mystery of who stole MJF’s Devil’s mask.

With MJF in the ring and the entire Bang Bang Gang of Bullet Club Gold (Juice Robinson, Jay White and the Gunns) on the ramp, the lights went out as everyone’s attention was directed to the big screen.

In a backstage attack, the Acclaimed (Billy Gunn, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) were attacked by four masked attackers, even going so far as to throw Bowens through a glass window.

While the ‘Devil’ (or at least whoever stole MJF’s Devil mask) appeared briefly to end the segment, they weren’t standing with the attackers, rather appeared in pre-tape, and we still only saw a head shot of the leader.

Back in the ring, MJF quickly ran off backstage however was too late and all that was left was the carnage from the Acclaimed who were all still laying injured and alone.

Samoa Joe then walked up, laughing at MJF’s misfortunes that everyone who helps him gets hurt, as he continues to target the champ for the AEW World Championship.
