If you watched Friday Night SmackDown, then you obviously saw Drew McIntyre appear. Drew’s focus on Friday was the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Of course, if Drew is going to face Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, then he’s going to have to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Fortunately for him, he has a chance at that very title tonight on WWE Raw. Rumors were all of the Friday night stuff was a red herring and the plan remained for Randy Orton to face Roman Reigns.
However, Dave Melter has posted a Tweet which might indicate plans have changed. Here’s what Meltzer tweeted:
Anyway, per the discussion on last night's show regarding McIntyre's appearance on Smackdown, it all does make sense at the end of the show tonight. At least at this moment.

While Meltzer is rather vague in his tweet, the discussion on WOR and McIntyre’s appearance may indicate a Drew McIntyre win. Of course, the caveat at the end and the vague nature of the tweet could mean something else. However, it seems to indicate a title win for Drew.
The other option could simply be Roman Reigns or Jey Uso interfere in the match and cost Drew the title. This would provide an easy way for WWE to give Drew the loss and allow the Roman and Drew story to be put off.
WWE has a history of making title changes on the go-home shows the week before Survivor Series. The New Day are also putting their titles on the line tonight against The Hurt Business.
As always, WrestleTalk will have live coverage of tonight’s show.
