‘A Precious Moment’ – WWE Main Roster Star Comments On NXT Appearance

A WWE main roster star has labelled their one-off appearance on NXT a ‘precious moment’ following a memorable showing with a rising star.

Unlike many of the main roster names who appeared on this week’s NXT such as John Cena and The Undertaker who don’t exactly have much history with the NXT brand specifically, the same most certainly could not be said about The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka.

Throughout a memorable two year spell on the gold brand, Asuka reigned undefeated, holding the NXT Women’s Championship for a record 510 days, before relinquishing the title to move to the main roster in late 2017.

Asuka put that unbeaten run on NXT to the test against fellow former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, with Asuka coming out on top.

In reaction to Perez’s efforts, Asuka would take to Twitter to thank here opponent before describing her feelings on returning to her former home.

It was a precious moment to feel fresh energy for the first time in a long time.

And thank you @WWENXT and the #NXTUniverse for this opportunity.

As mentioned, Asuka was far from the only big name to appear on NXT – the most notable perhaps was The Undertaker who appeared for a confrontation with Bron Breakker as the show closed, however, that’s not where his night ended.
