Pro Wrestling Tees has recently filed a pretty interesting trademark that could lead to a new style of service similar to something like Cameo.
As per Fightful, Pro Wrestling Tees, under the name Creative Ventures Inc, filed for “Shoot” on September 9.
As noted, the description the term was filed under is worth noting. It reads:
International Class 042: Providing an interactive website featuring technology that allows users to create personalized video messages for entertainment, instructional, inspirational, or greeting purposes featuring professional wrestlers, sports entertainers, or combat-sport participants by enabling users to use and access an online marketplace to order a personalized video message and have the ordered personalized video message recorded by the chosen professional wrestlers, sports entertainers, or combat-sport participants and delivered to the user or an individual selected by the user.
The has been no official announcement as of yet from the company regarding the term or plans for a video messaging service.
If it does end up coming to fruition, it seems like a good move as there are many, many independent wrestlers who use Cameo, so having a wrestling-centric version would probably be beneficial for all parties.
