The ratings have been revealed for the December 9 edition of AEW Rampage, showing a slight bump over the previous week.
The episode saw Jon Moxley defeat new AEW hire Konosuke Takeshita in a bloody opener, while Orange Cassidy beat Trent Seven in the show’s main event to retain his AEW All-Atlantic Championship.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the episode drew 457,000 total viewers, and scored a 0.11 in the key 18 – 49 demographic.
The show was an improvement over the previous week’s record low of 361,000 total viewers and 0.08 in the key demographic.
However, the show is still a far cry from earlier in the year, when it was regularly scoring between 500,000 and 600,000 total viewers on certain weeks.
AEW has come under fire recently for the poor performance of AEW Rampage, which many are seeing less as AEW’s answer to SmackDown and more as its answer to Sunday Night Heat.
