The real reason a top former TNA Wrestling name was backstage at the November 27 edition of WWE Raw has been revealed.
As shown off through multiple posts on social media, former TNA owner Dixie Carter was present for the show in Nashville, TN last week.
Carter took numerous pictures with talent and staff, many of which she had previously worked with in TNA including Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes and Chelsea Green.
Another individual Carter was pictured with was WWE Executive Director of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown Bruce Prichard.
Speaking on his Something to Wrestle podcast, Prichard revealed that it was who invited Carter to attend the show.
Prichard explained:
“I’ve always said it even in our TNA podcast where sometimes a little controversial, but I’ve always maintained that Dixie, I think she’s a wonderful person and we’ve remained friends to this day.”
“I reached out and I thought it would be great since we were going to be in Nashville to invite her to the show and say hello and it was terrific to see her and reconnect and say hello.”
Prichard worked for Carter in numerous roles behind the scenes in TNA between 2010-2013, as well as a brief spell in 2017 prior to his eventual return to WWE a year later in 2018.
Elsewhere on his podcast Prichard also revealed that he was set to undergo surgery, click here for full details.
