There is actually one last chance to see one of the WWE stars who was released yesterday (September 21) in action in a WWE ring.
There were several WWE releases yesterday, ranging from established main roster names like Dolph Ziggler and Elias all the way to Performance Center recruits who had barely debuted in NXT.
One of those released, actually the most recent one that we’ve found out about publicly as of this writing, is Ikemen Jiro.
As it turns out, we’ll have a chance to see one last match from Jiro in WWE.
Announced for tonight’s episode of NXT Level Up on the WWE Network after SmackDown is a match between Jiro and Luca Crusifino.
The match was taped last Tuesday, September 12, obviously before the decision to release Jiro yesterday was made.
There may be a chance the match is cut from the show, but it’s still being advertised on WWE.com right now, and it wouldn’t be the first time this has happened, so the likelihood is it probably won’t be.
