Report: Major Indie Star Signs With WWE

Scarlett Bordeaux has signed with WWE and is set to appear on NXT TV “very soon” according to Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens.

The report notes that she will be used as an in-ring performer, but will also be paired with a male NXT star.

The Wrestling Observer reported that Bordeaux had pulled out of indie shows and signed an exclusive deal with a company, although that report didn’t mention what company, which is when Sqaured Circle Sirens followed up with the NXT news.

Bordeaux has appeared on WWE TV previously as enhancement talent, being squashed by Nia Jax on Raw in December 2016.

She requested her release from Impact Wrestling this past June after signing with the promotion a year earlier, which was of course granted.

Since then she has continued working for AAA and other indie promotions.
