Report: No AEW Representatives Helped CM Punk Travel After Arriving In London For AEW All In At Wembley Stadium AEW

UPDATE: The verdict on this story is that all AEW talent were told there were certain windows where they’d be able to be picked up. Outside of those windows, they could travel by Uber or taxi and be reimbursed by the company.

There were reportedly some travel issues for CM Punk as he made his way to Wembley Stadium for AEW All In this past weekend.

Most of the news coming out of the event has been about Punk’s backstage altercation with Jack Perry, but there was a bit of a situation before that as well.

According to Haus of Wrestling, when Punk landed at Heathrow airport in London on Saturday morning, there were no AEW representatives there to meet him.

There was also no car service set up to take him to his hotel, so he attempted to text a number he was given by AEW to contact the driver.

As it turns out, the number was coming back as invalid.

This resulted in Punk having to use public transport to figure out his own way to where he was going.

He actually got lost but there were fans who recognized him and helped him out.

There have been photos on social media that show Punk on public transport in London so that does appear to be true.

Some insinuations have also been made on social media regarding a particular member of the AEW travel team and their personal interactions with Punk/Elite tweets that would suggest they’re ‘pro-Elite’ and ‘anti-Punk’, but we’ll keep you updated on if there’s anything of real substance to that.

We’ll keep you posted with any further details that emerge on the whole Punk/AEW situation.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, Punk and Jack Perry are confirmed to be suspended and an investigation into their altercation is ongoing.
