Despite being featured far more on WWE TV as of late, Chad Gable is still seemingly being embarrassed on each episode of Raw and Smackdown.
The former Raw, Smackdown and NXT Tag Team Champion’s opponents nearly always mock him for being short. The most recent example was seen last night at Hell In A Cell by King Corbin before the pair clashed.
Despite being humiliated nearly every week on TV, Dave Meltzer is reporting that this is only being done because Vince McMahon is actually a fan of Gable:
“It’s to pop Vince, it’s to pop Vince. Vince thinks this whole thing — and that’s the funny part because Vince likes Chad Gable and he thinks this is is getting him over and this makes Vince laugh.”
While it is nice to see Gable on TV far more than he was, I just wish WWE Creative had something more for him than taking the mic out of the fact he isn’t the tallest.
However, I’m sure Vince McMahon is happy and finding this rather amusing, and that’s all that matters.
